Madhavan

R Madhavan became an actor when he was just 16 years old. Madhavan started his acting career landing roles in such films as the Mohammed drama "Uppu" (1986), "Alai Payuthey" (2001) and "Aethiree" (2004). He also appeared in "Priyasakhi" (2005), the adventurous drama "Paint it Yellow" (2006) with Aamir Khan and the foreign "Rendu" (2006) with Bhagyaraj. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the early 2000s, appearing in "Delhii Heights" (2007), "Guru" (2007) with Abhishek Bachchan and the Soha Ali Khan drama "Mumbai Meri Jaan" (2008). He also appeared in "13B" (2009) and the Parzan Dastur foreign "Sikandar" (2009). More recently, he tackled roles in "3 Idiots" (2010) with Aamir Khan, the Amitabh Bachchan sports drama "Teen Patti" (2010) and "Tanu Weds Manu" (2011). He also appeared in "Jodi Breakers" (2012) and "Vettai" (2012). Madhavan most recently acted in "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" (2015).
