Reece Shearsmith

Actor Reece Shearsmith was widely known for his presence on the silver screen. Known for making audiences laugh, Shearsmith began his acting career in comedies like "Shaun of the Dead" (2004) with Simon Pegg and "The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse" (2005). He also was featured in the miniseries "Miss Marple Series III" (2006-07). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the early 2000s and the 2010s, appearing in "The Cottage" (2008) and "Burke and Hare" (2011). He also landed a role in the miniseries "The Hollow Crown" (2012-). Recently, he tackled roles in the Michael Smiley dramatic period piece "A Field In England" (2013) and the comedic action flick "The World's End" (2013) with Simon Pegg. He also was featured in the TV movie "An Adventure in Space and Time" (BBC, 2013-14). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Inside No. 9" (BBC 2, 2013-). Shearsmith most recently acted on "The Widower" (PBS, 2015-).
