Ronnie James Dio

Ronnie James Dio brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Dio began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the Matthew Modine dramatic adaptation "Vision Quest" (1985), "Iron Eagle" (1986) with Louis Gossett Jr. and the Mike Myers box office smash comedy "Wayne's World" (1992). In the early 2000s and the 2010s, Dio devoted his time to various credits, such as "Heavy: The Story of Metal" (2005-06), "Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties" with Jennifer Love Hewitt (2006) and "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey" (2006) starring Vince Neil. He also worked on "Tenacious D In: The Pick of Destiny" with Jack Black (2006). Dio was most recently credited in the Cameron Diaz smash hit comedy "Bad Teacher" (2011). Dio passed away in May 2010 at the age of 68.
