Sarah Winter

A relative newcomer to screen acting, Sarah Winter quickly vaulted from minor roles on television and in features in her native England to co-starring in the American TV pilot "The Selection" (The CW 2013- ). She made her first appearances in the late 2000s, moving swiftly from bit parts to featured roles in recreations for a pair of UK documentaries. After starring in a slew of short films, Winter earned a choice showcase as Delia Derbyshire, composer of the theme to "Doctor Who" (BBC, 1963-1989, 2005- ), in "An Adventure in Space and Time" (BBC 2013), which detailed the origins of the venerable science fiction series. That same year, she was cast in her first American project, the fantasy drama "The Selection." Though it was not picked up for series, her casting indicated that Sarah Winter was on the fast track to international attention.
